This project was born in 2013, created by Marc, a 26-year-old from Barcelona who dreamed of traveling, surfing, and making his career something different.

We started by buying clothes and selling them at music festivals across Europe. We loved the lifestyle, but soon realized that fast and cheap consumption didn’t align with our ideals. So, we decided to create our own clothing brand, focusing on durable garments made under conditions that respected the integrity of the people involved.

Thus, our first creation was born: the Nagi sweatshirt, an instant success that is still part of our collection today. It was made in Thailand and sent to Europe to be sold at festivals. The quality of the fabric and the design made people come back for more.

More garments began to be created, and that's when the big change came:

Why not produce our clothes locally and make everything more sustainable?

Sure, it would be more expensive, but we would completely reduce our carbon footprint, ensure fair wages and workers’ rights, and support local employment.

So, in 2016, Vagabondians began designing and producing in Barcelona. Some of our fabrics were made there and sourced from deadstock warehouses, while others we found during our travels.

The project continued to evolve when Blanca joined the team. Marc and Blanca were college friends, and in the summer of 2018, she worked with him at festivals. They made a great match, so after that season, she started helping the brand, taking charge of online sales, social media, and the design of new garments.

Since then, Vagabondians has also come to life online, and you can find our garments right here on this website.

When the pandemic hit, everything stopped. It was a tough two years, but we never disconnected from the project, and many great ideas emerged.

When the world reopened, we came back stronger than ever. We began expanding to more festivals, running shops in different places at the same time. Marc led one team, and Blanca led another.

We also made a big change in how we produced: instead of sourcing fabrics from around the world, we began creating our own designs and printing them on fabrics. All done in Barcelona, with the help of local designers, printers, and suppliers.
